V-Belt For Motorcycles

Raydafon motorcycle V-belts are CVT drive belts for 50cc–150cc scooters, built with aramid cord and heat-resistant CR rubber. VS15–VS22 profiles, OEM branding, sample orders and wholesale pricing available.

Raydafon V-Belts for Motorcycles are CVT drive belts built for 50cc, 90cc, 100cc, 125cc and 150cc scooter and motorcycle transmission systems. Each belt uses an aramid (Kevlar) tensile cord inside a heat-resistant chloroprene rubber body, so it holds its width and grip under continuous high-temperature CVT operation instead of stretching, slipping or cracking early.

If you are sourcing motorcycle V-belt replacement stock for a workshop chain, aftermarket distributor, or OEM assembly line, this page gives you the profile range, material construction, fitment data and the exact information we need to quote you accurately.

How a Motorcycle CVT V-Belt Works

The V-belt sits between the front variator pulley and the rear driven pulley of a scooter's continuously variable transmission (CVT). As engine speed rises, centrifugal rollers push the variator plates together, forcing the belt outward on the front pulley and inward on the rear pulley. This changes the drive ratio continuously — no gear steps, just smooth acceleration.

The belt is the only component transferring engine torque to the rear wheel. If it stretches, the effective ratio range is reduced and acceleration drops. If it glazes or cracks from heat, it can slip under load or fail outright. That is why aramid cord construction and heat-resistant rubber compound matter for scooter V-belt replacement quality.

What Affects Motorcycle V-Belt Life

  • Heat — CVT housings run hot in stop-start traffic; a heat-resistant CR compound resists glazing and cracking.
  • Stretch — low-stretch aramid cord keeps the effective length stable so acceleration and top speed do not drop.
  • Contamination — dust and belt debris accelerate wear; the belt should run in a clean, dry CVT housing.
  • Riding style — holding throttle against the brake or repeated hill starts overheats the belt and shortens its service life.
  • Roller and pulley condition — worn variator rollers or a scored pulley face will wear a new belt faster.

Most manufacturers recommend CVT inspection every 8,000 km and belt replacement at 20,000–25,000 km or every two years under normal use. Replace immediately if the belt shows cracks, missing cogs, glazing, or a width reduction of 1 mm or more from the specified dimension.

Quality Control You Can Audit

Every belt batch goes through raw material inspection, cord tension verification, dimensional checks (top width, thickness, outer circumference), and high-temperature and low-temperature performance testing before packing.

Maintenance Tips for Longer Belt Life

  • Inspect the belt every 8,000 km or at each CVT service interval — look for cracks, missing cogs and glazed surfaces.
  • Clean the CVT housing and blow out belt dust during service to prevent abrasive wear.
  • Check variator rollers and pulley faces at the same time — a worn roller will destroy a new belt quickly.
  • Allow a 50–100 km break-in period after fitting a new belt before pushing the scooter to full throttle.
  • Avoid holding throttle against the brake; this overheats the belt and clutch shoes.

FAQ — Motorcycle V-Belt

What motorcycle models does this V-belt fit? It covers 50cc, 90cc, 100cc, 125cc and 150cc scooter and motorcycle engine families with CVT transmission. Common applications include Honda Vario, PCX, BeAT and Scoopy; Yamaha Mio, Aerox and NMAX; and Suzuki Address and Skywave. Send your engine model and frame number for a confirmed fitment check.
What material is the motorcycle V-belt made of? The belt uses a chloroprene rubber (CR) body with an aramid (Kevlar) tensile cord. Aramid fiber is also blended into the upper and lower rubber layers to improve side-pressure rigidity, tensile strength and slip resistance under high-temperature CVT operation.
What is the MOQ and lead time for wholesale orders? Sample orders are accepted for quality verification before bulk purchase. MOQ depends on belt profile and whether the size is in stock or requires a new mould. Lead time is typically 2–3 days for samples and 20–30 days for mass production. Send your quantity and destination port for a quotation.
When should a motorcycle V-belt be replaced? Most manufacturers recommend CVT inspection every 8,000 km and belt replacement at 20,000–25,000 km or every two years under normal use. Belts used in heavy traffic, steep terrain or aggressive riding should be inspected more frequently. Replace immediately if the belt shows cracks, glazing, missing cogs or a width reduction of 1 mm or more.
